There is something powerful when you hear a father you admire proclaim, “This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice in it!”
This past weekend, this particular father was exclaiming delight in his daughter’s wedding. KB was in the wedding and I drove down to San Antonio to witness a great celebration. On the way I couldn’t resist taking pictures out my window and even pulling over to snap a photo of the fog rising among the numerous windmills that dot the horizons of the Texas Panhandle.

I’ve never been to a wedding so grand. It was simple, yet very elegant. I did take my camera but out of respect for the numerous photographers on duty at the wedding I held myself to a few detail shots. (one of which you see posted above). I did put my new R-Strap to the test as I walked through crowds of people and carried my plate and drink during the party. The R-Strap was sweet!
KB and I were pleasantly surprised to see that one of the main photographers at the wedding was Erin (who photographed our wedding). Erin has continued to get better and better all the time. Check out some of the photos from the grand wedding on her blog…Erin’s Photos
